Academia is delighted to announce that we’re a contender in two categories in this year’s CRN Channel Awards – namely Reseller of the Year (£25m-£250m) and Public Sector Partner of the Year. We are hoping for another successful night at the awards ceremony, taking place on 14th November 2024.
On the back of a record-breaking FY23, we have been thrilled with the performance of our team to ensure this trend continued throughout FY24. Our approach of putting our customers first, a focus on sustainable solutions, backed by strong partnerships with vendors and distributors has contributed towards our success. Of course, none of this would be possible without the entire team at Academia – now 220+ employees strong.
Here’s some of our FY24 highlights:
- Forecasted growth FY24 sees an increase in revenue of 15%
- Subscription and Services revenues grew 25% YoY
- Re-launched our new look Lifecycle Services Division, which now offers complete circular supply through ITAD and eco-friendly recycling services
- Achieved supplier status across 12 frameworks
- Received four partner awards including Jamf, Logitech and Lenovo
- Expansion of partner portfolio with a drive on innovative partners such as META and infrastructure partners such as CISCO and HPE
- Formation of internal Committees for Wellbeing, Fundraising, Volunteering, Sustainability and Women in Tech
- Achieved Great Place to Work status
- Winner of CRN Reseller of the Year (£20m-£250m) in November 2023
Making a sustainable impact on everyone
Thanks to the re-launch of our Lifecycle Services division, we’ve had a real impact on the reduction of our customers’ carbon footprint. With a 32% increase in the number of assets recycled or reused, totalling nearly 100,000 devices in FY24. Impressively, 62% of these devices were reused, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and helping our customers achieve their environmental goals.
