Who we are

At Academia our firm belief is that success is measured through return customers. Customers who return to us do so because they have experienced exceptional service by staff who are engaged, enthusiastic and driven to achieve. In order for our staff to demonstrate these characteristics, we believe in recruiting attitude over experience and personality over qualifications. This doesn’t mean that our staff aren’t highly skilled, they are. It just means that we would rather take the time to invest in someone’s training and development if they display the right focus, values and willingness to ‘get stuck in’.


Our head office, based in Enfield, is designed to initiate open communication between departments and colleagues at every level. In a dynamic environment such as ours, we enjoy the ‘buzz’ of a busy sales floor and work hard to achieve clear goals and strategic objectives, celebrating the success of others and often enjoying a beer together at our local pub after a strong week in the office. This ‘start up’ mentality in a fast-growing business helps us to stay focused on the end goal and remain accountable to our shareholders as we strive daily to better the previous day, month and year.
