Andrew is one of the most successful technology entrepreneurs who has built some of the UK’s most profitable companies. An ex-Professional Footballer, Andrew is a devoted philanthropist and fundraiser, dedicated to making positive impacts across communities and driving sports within schools.
Joe Kelly
Chief Financial Officer
After more than 25 years working in the tech services sector around the globe, there isn’t much that Joe doesn’t know about buying and building businesses. An avid Luton Town supporter, he takes to his MTB or the tennis court for time out.
Mark McCormack
Managing Director
Mark has spent more than 25 years in the IT industry. He’s a a leader, visionary and mentor that’s been instrumental in driving Academia’s growth since he joined in 2005. A family man and fitness fanatic, Mark’s got an appetite for golf and football as well as a passion for the environment.
Peter Heath
Technical Operations Director
An Industry veteran with more than 35 years helping SMEs to Enterprise, Education and Public Sector with technology solutions. Peter is instrumental is driving business transformation, reaching high standards and achieving technical excellence. Based in Hertfordshire, he is a food fanatic and self-proclaimed cook.
Luke Holdcroft-Young
Sales Director
Since joining Academia in 2012, Luke has been an influential part of our growth and now leads the sales functions across the business. A husband, father of 2 and golf fan, he is passionate about using technology to enhance learning and teaching for our future.
Carly Winn
Sales Operations Director
For more than a decade, Carly has played a vital role within our Sales Operations function. She not only ensures we support, care and deliver customer satisfaction at all times, but that Academia does so in the most efficient way. Her goal is to leverage people, systems and processes to deliver value to our loyal customer base.
Natalie Hailey
Group People Director
Natalie joined Academia in December 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in people and culture roles, including many years as a senior leader in industry. A purpose driven People and Culture leader, Natalie has created and scaled high-growth environments by aligning culture and capability to deliver business outcomes. Natalie has architected award-winning cultures that balance pace with belonging and is known for being radically honest - turning strategy into action. She challenges norms, sparks curiosity and delivers impact while scaling with soul.
