More and more schools are starting to invest in iPads for classrooms, as they see that it can have multiple benefits for learning.
The first institutions to hop on the iPad wagon are in higher education and secondary school. The more hesitant ones are primary schools as there is still discussion about whether or not younger students are ready for mobile devices.
We think that young children are ready for mobile devices: They already know how to use their parent’s iPhone and iPad, and they are much more tech savvy than we give them credit for. There are programs in Ireland that are actually designed for teaching children how to code. That’s probably more than we know!
