Academia is delighted to partner with YoYo Games, the producers of GameMaker, the fastest and friendliest cross-platform game development technology. GameMaker is the perfect tool for teaching students of all ages how to make games. Using their intuitive “Drag and Drop” feature, students can create a game in a matter of minutes before having to write any code.
GameMaker Studio 2 is the latest and greatest iteration of GameMaker. It has been completely redeveloped with usability and efficiency at its core, allowing developers to create games within a single code base and then publish them to run natively across multiple platforms including Android, iOS, HTML5, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows Desktop, OS X, Ubuntu, Windows UWP.
